Personally I think the aat is superior here. I haven't had difficulty killing tx130s with the main cannon either. The tx130 doesn't suffer nearly as bad when infantry get close because you don't have to be stationary and the weapons are mounted lower. Also, gun depression on the aat isn't very good which let's infantry fuck with you if they are close enough and you're in siege mode. The aat can take some hull down positions thanks to the turret. While the aat doesn't have that issue but you have to be stationary and the tx130 can shoot, take cover while charging and shoot again.
It can easily miss the charged shots or at least one of them the closer you get. The tx130 also suffers from the placement of the weapons.
On top of that it takes a decent amount of time to charge where as the aat could get off multiple rounds. The aat fires quicker while the tx130 is more powerful but you need to land both projectiles. Now the middle/E(charged shot/ siege mode) ability I've had about the same about of deadliness with the charged shot on the tx130 and main gun on the aat. When we look at the tx130 the range for missiles is far superior. I mean if you want more range you need to physically position thre aat on an incline. Obviously the tx130 wins in the right/F(missiles) ability category. I think the tx130 is better than the aat overall.
